BOOK COLLECTION "THE SHARING OF WORDS BETWEEN TWO LANDS"
Goals
"replenishment of school libraries in Abidjan (Ivory Coast)"
This project aims to collect books to restock school libraries in Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
Mrs. Koné, head of the school library service in the district of Adjamé 1, told us of her difficulty in getting 25,000 pupils from the 65 inspection schools to read with the 2,000 books she has in her centre. His wish would be to obtain a significant number of books to help his students who love reading.

Actions made
FLOHMARKT (garage sale) at the FRENCH SCHOOL IN HAMBURG
On Saturday April 21, 2018 at the French School of Hamburg, a flomarkt "flea market" was organized. The GICI, helped by the organizing committee of the school's parents' association, succeeded in this feat of collecting as many books as possible at the end of this collection. The donations obtained constitute the first stone of this project of restocking the school libraries of Abidjan - (Côte d'Ivoire) which is part of the long term.
